HR mobile app: Teamso in your pocket

Request and approve leave, open your payslip, clock in and out with a QR code. You choose which notifications reach your phone.

The app is free; you sign in with your company's Teamso account. The screens you see depend on the packages your company uses and on your role.

What you can do

One app for employees and managers

Your permissions on the web apply on the phone too; no separate setup or separate permission set is needed.

Time and attendance: QR and location

Scan the QR code at your workplace with the camera, or clock in with one tap while you are inside the workplace area. Turn on automatic clock-in if you like, and records are written on arrival and departure.

  • Location and camera permission is asked only on the phone
  • GPS accuracy is taken into account
  • Send a reason for lateness or a missing record from the phone
Time and attendance

Leave and approvals

See your remaining leave and create leave, overtime, expense and other requests. If you are a manager, approve pending requests with one tap or reject them with a reason.

  • Approvals waiting for you on the home screen
  • A notification when it is your turn to approve
  • Your team's attendance for the day
Leave management

Payslip

If your company uses e-payslips, you get a notification when your payslip is published, and payslips from past periods stay archived in the app.

  • E-payslip notification
  • Access to past periods
  • Documents waiting for your approval
E-payslip

Notification preferences

For each notification type you turn the in-app notification and the phone (push) notification on or off separately. You are asked once at first sign-in and can change it in settings later.

  • Preference question at first sign-in
  • Two channels per type
  • No notification when both are off

Always current

If an old version of the app is in use, an update banner appears at the top of the screen and opens the store with one tap. New features reach everyone at the same time as on the web.

  • Update banner
  • One tap to the store
  • Same features as the web

Same account, same permissions

You sign in with your Teamso account; your company's security settings (two-step verification, IP restriction) apply on the phone too. When you sign out, the phone's notification registration is removed as well.

  • One account, one password
  • Company security settings apply
  • Notification registration removed on sign-out
Who it is for

Everyone finishes their own work on the phone

Employees

They scan the QR code on arrival or let automatic clock-in write the record. During the day they request leave, upload an expense receipt and read and approve the document waiting for them. At month end the payslip arrives on the phone, and past months are on the same screen.

Managers

The home screen shows the team's status for the day: who is in, who is on a break, who has not arrived. They approve leave, overtime and expense requests between meetings when it is their turn, or reject them with a reason.

HR and management

Announcements and surveys reach employees' phones as notifications. Attendance records, reasons and approvals land in the web reports immediately; there is no separate transfer or sync between desktop and phone.

Getting started

On your phone in four steps

  1. Download the app

Download Teamso for free from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Sign in with your Teamso account

Use your email address or phone number and the same account you use on the web.

  3. Choose your notifications

At first sign-in, choose which notifications reach your phone; the phone permission is requested in this step.

  4. Start using it

Use the shortcuts on the home screen to request leave, clock in and see pending approvals.

Location and privacy

Location is used only when needed

When you clock in with a QR code or location, the phone uses your current location to compare it with the workplace's defined area. If you do not grant location permission you can still clock in with a QR code; if your company turned on location verification, the result is written to the record.

Automatic clock-in works only when you turn it on and give explicit consent. The phone reports when you arrive at and leave the workplace area; it does not track your location continuously. You can turn automatic clock-in off at any time, and the phone then stops sending events.

Location and notification permissions can also be withdrawn in the phone's own settings. Your company's privacy notice explains which data is processed and why.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Mobile app

Is the Teamso mobile app paid?

No. The app is free on the App Store and Google Play. You sign in with your Teamso account; the screens you can use depend on the packages your company uses and on your role.

Is my location tracked all the time for automatic clock-in?

No. Automatic clock-in works only when you turn it on and give explicit consent; the phone reports arrival at and departure from the workplace area. You can turn it off at any time.

How do I turn notifications off?

In notification settings you can turn off the in-app notification and the phone notification separately for each type. No notification is created for a type with both turned off. You can also withdraw the notification permission in the phone's settings.

Can managers approve from the phone?

Yes. Leave, overtime, expense and other requests appear in the approval list on the home screen when it is your turn; approve with one tap or reject with a reason.

Which phones does the app run on?

Download it from the App Store for iPhone and from Google Play for Android phones. We recommend keeping the app up to date; an old version shows an update banner at the top of the screen.

What if I lose my phone?

Sign in to Teamso from another device, change your password and tell your company administrator. Sessions end according to your company's security settings; a signed-out phone receives no notifications.

Roll out the app at your company
